First ever Fairtrade Business Awards Launched
We are delighted to announce the launch of the first ever Fairtrade Business Awards, open to all businesses in the greater Bristol area which support Fairtrade. We want to promote fair and ethical local businesses as well as aiming to increase the use and awareness of Fairtrade in the business community. Click here for full details and to enter.
South Glos Retain Fairtrade Status
South Gloucestershire Council has worked alongside community organisations, businesses, schools and individuals to pledge to do what they can to support and promote the Fairtrade Mark.
South West Fairtrade goes live
In a collaboration between more than 20 Fairtrade Town groups and over 600 fairtrade businesses in the south west, the South West Fairtrade website is now up and running.
2012 Olympics and Fairtrade

Kit Kat biscuits to go Fairtrade in the new year
Kit Kat, Britain's biggest-selling chocolate biscuit, will bear the Fairtrade logo from mid-January 2010.
